Designed as the “low” end Soviet fighter mix much like the US’s F-16, the Mig 29 is renonwed for it’s maneuverability and was the first fighter to feature the new generation of high angle off boresight ir missile and helmet mounted sight. the “fulcrum” introduced many air forces to 4th generation fighter capabilities.
