CL-13B Sabre Mk 6, 439 Sqdn "Sabre Tooth Tigers," 1 Wg, Prints

from $49.50

Images are reduced fidelity for copyright protection.

Licensed built by Canadair and designated CL-13, the Sabre Mk6 may well be the most potent version of the Sabre ever built. Incorporating a more powerful Orenda 14 engine, the CL13B Mk 6 also featured the extended 6-3 wing with Leading Edge Slats… the only “small” Saber so equipped. The most power and best lift created a true performance beast.

23389 is shown during No. 439 Squadron’s 8 year rotation at Marville France in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. She carries a pair of the larger 200 US Gallon drop tanks and wears the standard Grey/Green over Blue camouflage scheme topped with the bold red tail stripe with the Squadron’s Sabre Tooth Tiger graphics.

Any Fighter Studios print can be customized with different squadron marking, different store configurations, names on the nose or canopy rail. To get yours started, click Personalized Print for more information or click Email with questions.
