The Blacksnakes of Indiana’s ANG converted from the F-4E to the F-16C in 1991 when it received Block 25 Vipers. Those early “c” models were upgraded under the ANG’s CUPID program to provide precision attack capabilities, NVG capability, data link, etc…
One of those jets is depicted prepared for a surface attack sortie with a pair of GBU-31 JDAM 2,000 lb bombs. 84-0238 additionally carries 2 x AIM-120 active radar missiles, an AN-AAQ-28(v) Litening II advanced targeting pod, and 2 x 370 Tk external wing tanks.
